Field Medicine Class coming in JULY!

When: (Saturday), 0800-1730hrs (1hr lunch break). The medical class will be covering the following topics: * Mental preparation/considerations/family dynamics * Principles of Triage: When, who, why, resources * In-depth analysis of various situations presenting illness or injury * Head to toe assessment and treatment considerations * Splinting techniques and improvised stabilization options * Treating for shock, Hot & Cold weather injuries * Bleeding and wound control * Tourniquet application and rationale * Burns (thermal, chemical, etc.) * OTC medicine variations * Working in groups and individual capacity * Lots of hands-on with your kit, scenarios to respond to This course speaks to every ability level, it's not a canned presentation nor one-size-fits-all event.
